We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of the office, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting our staff with a variety of clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. - Answer phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and provide basic company information.
- Perform general office duties, including sorting and distributing mail, photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files, ensuring documents are up-to-date and easy to access.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
- Update and maintain calendars for office managers and executives.
- Ensure the office space is organized, clean, and well-maintained.
- Manage office supplies and ensure they are adequately stocked.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and delivery.
- Track packages and arrange for courier services when needed.
- Provide administrative assistance to other departments as needed.
- Be open to cross-training and assisting in other areas of the company.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in an office environment, with a strong background in customer service and clerical duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with the ability to update calendars and schedule appointments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally as required.
Benefits
- Pay: $15 per hour
- Hours: 20 hours per week (5-hour shifts) & 4 days a week.
